Psalm 1

As the tide turns back to sea
By the full moon that hangs,
So seeds sown return to me;
God's blessing boomerangs.

My, my. Think you’re so smart!
Take care not to stumble.
Knowledge has a proud heart.
Wisdom, dear, is humble.

***

THE MINUTIA OF A NANO; THE LARGESS OF INFINITY,
EACH MAGNANIMOUS UNCLOAKING UNWRAPS HIS MYSTERY.

***

Listen! Take a stroll where grace is
And few are S T I L L enough to trod;
Down a path of empty spaces
Lies the will and voice of God!
***

LAY DOWN YOUR BURDENS AND BAGGAGE FOR MY LOAD IS LIGHT.
BRACE YOUR FAITH ON GOD’S PILLARS, YOU SPIRITUAL SAMSONITE!

Perfect vision? Sin distorts.
Walk with grace. All have warts.

We hypocrites, so quick to pick
And judge each false façade;
With each sin’s slice, a worse vice;
We steal the job from God!
(Our verdicts so much surer.
Being both judge & juror)

Is your deed for His Glory,
Or your own praise and fame?
If you could only foresee,
If you dared signed your name!

Delicate humans intertwine
And sweetly we blend scents
As earth’s bouquet most divine.
Perfect interdependence.
(What fruits come forth from fragrant fashion?
Orange you glad to know it’s compassion!)

How coarse, sir! How crude, miss!
Your slip’s showing prejudice!

The “re” of revenge scares me sober.
The godless rod strikes over ‘n over
‘N over ‘n over. These paybacks send
No hope the vindictive wrath will end.
(“What sour grapes on which mortals dine!)
Little wonder vengeance is mine!”)

Hunger pains the stomach,
Or the empty heart of,
Some son…. out of luck,
Some hon…. out of love.
(No one escapes the maul.
For hunger rapes us all!)

Not such a sin. Practically benign. She’s almost innocent.
Airs boasts ballistic, nicely narcissistic. But may I so hint,
Your ostentatious fanfare hides petty coats of profanity;
A cover-up for a bottomless Miss Charlotte Tan? No fair, Vanity!

(so insane she acts.
Poor megalomaniacs!)

The devil has allies to do his will.
What is required is to just stand still.
His lax army is not always brutal.
All that’s crucial is to live in neutral.

***
Divorce! Divorce! It takes two, of course! Of course?
Two to tango, but one can tangle and run.
Some fake 'n opaque forsake. It could take one.

MY PRIDE IS BROUGHT LOW BY THE PLEA
OF THE CROSS’S HUMILITY.

Who am I? What am I? Where is my mission?
I interpret today with yesterday’s vision.
The result is more blurred than any cataract;
Leading a life that’s rather matter of fact!
(How to get all life will allow?
Just for a “wow”! Live in the “now”!!)

We tread upon this earth seventy years or so.
Will you crush spirit’s fruit? Or leave it free to grow?
Was your saunter light and gracious for the greater gain?
Did your footprints cover up tears of joy or pain?

What are you like? Here’s a sample:
Your talk’s underminded by example.

Self-righteousness is pride above all.
Think! Isn’t anger a judgment call?

***

One day I’ll buy a farm and kick the bucket.
Like a petal on a daisy, He’ll pluck it!
And when they open me, I’m hope’in they see,
An overgrown heart two times too big for me!
(Your heart should be a muscle stout
Did the autopsy show you worked out?)

A light so bright descends,
invisible to everyone else;
Abba’s love makes amends;
captures what was hell’s.

Do you walk deliberately in love or fearfully fast?
As you eclispe another, which shadow do you cast?
And when The Judge towers over you from above,
Will God render your motive to be fear or love?

If I love only one other,
it’s enlarged egotism.
Love expands with each brother
like light through a prism.

Is it wrong to presume, or do I guess you’re
Like most humans; under such heavy pressure
From “Quelle surprise!” too much idle idol leisure?
Antidote? An expensive/free cure!
(Call 1-800-SAV-YOUR!)

TURN FROM ERROR, HON.
CHOOSE THE FAIRER ONE.
TILL NONE OF US REMAINS.
AH! THERE ARE HEAVEN’S GAINS!

A PAUPER JOURNEYS WITH A PRINCELY FRIEND.
CELEBRATE THE PASSAGE OF BEING BORN AGAIN!

LIFELESS PARTICLES APPROACHING WARP NINE
DAZZLE ME INTO OBLIVION.
STINGING LIKE BUCKSHOT ON A FIRING LINE.
STRANDED ON DEATH’S MERIDIAN.

Death’s reward
Is The Lord!

OUR INSAITIABLE TONGUE WE DO NOT BRIDLE.
SIN WON’T REGURGITATE ITS OWN FALSE IDOL.

OH, JUST FOR A MOMENT OF YOUR GLORY
THAT LETS ME PEER INTO HEAVEN’S VIEW,
WHATEVER PAIN FILLED MY LIFE’S STORY,
WILL BE HEALED BY ONE MOMENT WITH YOU!

Our core is where equality lies.
The surfaces judges with human eyes.

“Father, what is loves most hidden danger?”
“To neglect the poor & lonely stranger.”

Charity’s balm in His hands.
Rub it on and love expands!

Don’t dwell on dour hours!
Negativity doesn’t fit.
Christians, expend your powers
Being positive each minute!

OUR DARKNESS ESCAPES THE LIGHT.
YESTERDAYS’ ABSCOND THE MIND.
“FOR PEACE SAKES” FORGET THE FIGHT,
AND WE LEAVE THE PAST BEHIND!

What a joy, when it finally comes!
One moment nearer; heaven's bouquet.
Till then, don't succumb to humdrum,
For God's sake, don't wait your life away.

If I glance at your face,
I see differences other than good.
But your core has no race,
I find love’s essence in our brotherhood.

Spiritual blindness is “sight unsent”
Freedom springs from enlightenment.

Men or women, which one’s more brave?
Cod or cloven, whose fear more grave?
Is it the first to raise their fist?
Does courage flow stronger from the wrist?
Or do cowards hide under wings of pride,
Never crushing the enemy inside?

My grandest moment? Simply this:
The perfectness of our first kiss.
The saddest one might make you wince
It’s been your raging fury since.

From yielding to mule-est.
Gentle hearted to cruelest.
A love to live
Shared by few.
I forgive
What’s left of you.

***

More sure than frothy waves pounding down on glistening sands.
More loving than cradling their child’s face in their hands.
More powerful than ten billion stars colliding as one.
None more giving than a Father, who sacrificed his son.

More sure than crimson sunsets, ushering in a star struck night.
More unfathomable than seas storing secrets out of sight.
More caring than empathy aimed at lost souls in their plight.
None more willing to go through heaven & hell
For your adoption by blood & might!

More knowing than numbering all sands at every shore.
More thrilling than loves first kiss, that leaves you wanting more.
More mesmerizing than fairy tales and wonders of folklore.
None more holy than a Savior, who births oneness in your core.
Take all these things you feel and see.
Expand and multiply them by eternity:
Then multiply love’s sum into infinity,
And you might have an obscure facsimile
Of the God who dwells with me.
You just might believe, the One who foresees...

your destiny!
