As I begin each day it's a brand new start,

Renewed by all his ways; with praises from my heart.

Singing praises heart to heart.

For the prayers you keep as my days unwind,

As I lay me down to sleep, you're the last One on my mind.

You're the last one on my mind.

Oh, what a way to spend my days into the reaches of the night.

My hopes in you all coming true by the power of you might.

It's a love I had never hoped to find

Oh, mighty God, you are the first and the last One on my mind

Almighty God, The First, The Last. Is ever on my mind.

Deep shadows in a barren night.

Sin settles in to blanket light.

But an ardent force is precipitously near,

The light of the world summons darkness, "disappear!"

When the morning star is revealed,

My frazzled spirit will be healed;

For he has come to bear my stripes this day,

Each tear His blook will wipe away.

And this plasma stain will remind me,

Of what the Lord went through to find me.

No, the enemies blackness will not stand,

As I "faith" into the Promiseland!

Was your reign on earth Christian or cruel?

Would it have been dubbed, “The Golden Rule?”

Life for you; just how much value?
Much ado over ballyhoo?
Or keenly aware of time so swift,
Thus quick to forgive &forget not the gift!
(Don’t let a rift leave you miffed!)

An amnesiac as to payback. Sweet feat!
Without it forgiveness is not complete.

A stranger at best.
He might welcome food and rest.
Might leave you blessed.
Wasn’t he a divine guest!!!???
(Angel on a quest?
Why surely you jest!)

No wrath! Sin’s arrows hardly bombard me.
Lo! Paths thin ‘n narrow calm & guard me.

Do not hesitate!
Why be lead by fate?
Show her! What the heck!
Shuffle your own deck!
(Don’t ever get stuck
By the mistress of luck!)

Carrying a grudge will never budge the log in your eye.
Better to whittle an acquittal; a splinter in the other guy.
(Better feel God’s nudge ‘n pardon.
Debtor, sin’s fudge ‘ll harden.)

Wisdom spurs this ‘ole mare to laugh with ease.
Giddy! Up for a joyride! Nay neighing please!

I choose to laugh instead of sigh.
Are you a lesser fool than I?

Do you make others feel badly by curs’in
And blame? Who then really is the small person?

I will not let the enemy take away the gifts you've placed in me,

I will not let discouraging words rob me of the truth I have heard,

I will fear no evil .................. though ten-thousand arrows fly!

For with faith to the Son  rising high, every arrow  will pass me by!

Oh, I'm going up. I'm going onward!  The battle rages on!

I'm going up!  I'm going onward, Christians, God can make you strong!

Oh.   let's go onward! Christian soldiers.................be strong!

 I will not loose my liberty, or abuse His grace and trust in me.

I will not let go my peace and joy, that once was so easy to destroy.

I will fear no evil.................... though thousands against me arise!

For with my mind set on you  my heart following through.

 Oh, this soldier is gonna survive!

 I will not stop His love in me:............ pouring out. to lost humanity.

I will not give up the victory.................... He won with blood from Calvary!

I will fear no evil:............ Bring it on!  Let the battle begin!

For with the armor of God................... in the name of  The  Lord

There's no way that hell is gonna win!  

A WORD CAN THRILL.  A WORD CAN KILL.   BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU SAY.

A WORD CAN SPILL, AND NOT FULFILL.   BE PRAYERFUL ON YOUR WAY.

HARSH WORDS ONCE SPOKE.....................    LEAVE SOME THINGS BROKE.

AND MEMORIES WONT JUST FLOAT AWAY.

A WORD OF HASTE, AND A SOUL MAY WASTE   

AWAY AGAINST HIS WILL.
